I am pleased to inform you that we will be allowed to commence flying at the site at Centre Road from Monday 29th March 2021.
To keep us COVID compliant, please do not gather in groups of more than 6 at any one time and continue to maintain social distancing. You must also sign in to our online track and trace system upon arrival which can be found on our website and at this link: https://wanstead.bmfa.uk/bookings
We have also been made aware that there is now a fence to the right had side of the landing strip to prevent the public from disturbing the nearby nesting birds. This should not affect landing or take off but please do keep us informed if you encounter any difficulties.
Please note that the nesting birds take priority over model flying, so we will need to work around them.
There will be no indoor meetings until at least June/July 2021. I will let you know as soon as we have a confirmed booking.
