After a long time of COVID restrictions our monthly indoor meetings have now resumed!
We only ask that you wear a mask due to the possibility of elderly or vulnerable members attending.

Once a month we hold an indoor flying event and club meeting (usually the second Monday of each month, 7:30pm – 9:30 pm).  At present the meeting is held at Isaac Newton Academy, 1 Cricklefield Place, London, IG1 1FY.

The Academy is set back off the High Road between Ilford and Seven Kings. The Academy is almost opposite RGB television superstore. There are signposts pointing to the Academy entrance along Cricklefield Place, next door to Dents Accident Repair workshop. Car parking is available. For public transport, the nearest overground station is Seven Kings or no. 86 bus route.

To gain access to the building, there is a push-button entry phone to the right of the doorway. If no-one appears to let you in, there will be a note on the window of a mobile phone number to call to summon someone to unlock the door, please ask and they will direct you to the sports hall which is located on the second floor.

Fixed wing, helicopters & multi-rotors are allowed. Power is available but do bring a short extension lead (PAT tested if possible) as there are very few sockets. Also, as the building is new with high-tech flooring, non-marking footwear should be worn.

Guests are welcome to spectate for free. A fee of £5.00 will be charged should you wish to fly.
